About the Industrial Relations Center


In the 1930s and 40s, the Great Depression and devastation of World War II led to profound economic, social, and political changes. In 1945, the Industrial Relations Center was founded to study the influence these events had on employment behavior and to educate labor and management on collective bargaining agreements. The IRC Advisory Council is made up of leaders in business, labor, government, and higher education.
