As the foundation of our curriculum, the Minnesota Model of Human Resources and Industrial Relations includes focused study in 5 key areas. To provide functional expertise across the entire spectrum of HR management, graduate students take required core courses in all 5 areas and electives in 2 or more areas.

HRIR DegreePrograms

The Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies's MA program was launched in 1953, followed by the PhD in 1963. Since then, we have enrolled more than 2,500 MA students and nearly 100 PhD candidates.
