Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies

Founded in 1945 and awarded a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation in 1947, the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies is an international leader in HRIR education and research. As a part of the Carlson School of Management, the center is dedicated to the study and teaching of human resources, industrial relations, and all facets of the employment relationship.

Along with its graduate programs in human resources and industrial relations, the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies maintains a specialized reference library, research institute, active alumni association, and outreach units that provide non-credit training to HR professionals and the labor movement.
